Mom,

you're a beautiful angel that God sent to me

do you know why?

because

you're always there when I'm down

you help me through my life troubles

you teach me how to be good person

you tell to me to keep my manner

cause I am girl growing up into a woman

and many others cause it's uncountable

Mom,

you never give up easily

whether things sometimes didn't go right

you tell me to stay strong

cause life is always a tryout

and you remind me not to give up on hope

cause Allah is always there

Mom,

you're my guardian angel

and I will be one for you

but,

I know I can't make it as perfect as you do

Mom,

you're my everything

I wish you for happiness and peaceful in your life

Today, I got a chance to read a poem in English class. I didn't make this poem all by myself. I copied from a few songs, but then I made some changes so it didn't look the exact same. Can you guess what songs did I put on my poem? LOL

Mother's Day

Today is December 22nd. Here in Indonesia, we celebrate Mother's Day (Hari Ibu).

This morning I sent my mother a short message...

Oh ibuku,

Engkaulah wanita yang kucinta selama hidupku..

Maafkan anakmu bila ada salah,

Pengorbananmu tanpa balas jasa..

Ya Allah,

Ampuni dosanya,

Sayangilah ia seperti ia menyayangiku,

Berikanlah ia kebahagiaan di dunia dan di akhirat..

A Poetry of Mine

Today at the Indonesian Language lesson, I got the chance to read my poem I wrote.
Here it is:

SADAR

Pandanganku jauh tak bertumpu

Pikiranku kosong

Aku terkulai di ambang ketidakpastian

Membisu...

Sadarkah aku?

Sadarkah aku?

Tidak!

Sadarku tersesat dalam kesunyian

Aku terkesiap

Sesuatu mengusik hatiku

Lantunan syahdu menyentuh kalbu

Tenang nan merdu

Menuntunku kembali pada kedamaian

Suara adzan berkumandang

Inilah saatnya bagiku

Bersujud menganggungkan namaNya

Dengan khusyu di atas sajadah
